APPLICATIONS
It is a potabilization system used for obtain drinkable water since:

  • Well waters
  • Lake and lagoons water
  • River waters
  • Natural sources water

CHARACTERISTICS OF THE WATER TO TREAT

  • Sometimes high turbidity, being very changeable since during the epoch of rains bacterial pollution increases enormously.
  • Matters in suspension.
  • Organic residues proceeding from irregular spillages of the adjacent populations .
  • Bacterial pollution.
  • Industrials and urban tailings.
  • Presence of iron and manganese.
  • Presence of arsenic.
  • Presence of bore

TECHNOLOGY APPLIED TO THE TREATMENT
There is in use the technology of ultrafiltration which characteristics are:

  • The physical separation of different substances across the pressure that is exercised on a membrane, passing the water across it and retaining the pollutants.
  • The separation degree depends of the pore sizes.
  • It eliminates the solid ones in suspension and colloidal that cause the turbidity and the pathogenic existing micro-organisms in the water.
  • Are processes that do not depend excessively on the temperature.
  • It is applied in many other processes for clarification, separation of emulsions, sterilization, etc.
  • The soiling of the membrane will be depending on the quality of the water.
  • It takes a pre-treatment adapted to avoid this soiling and of automatic systems of counter-wash.
